Baladana is a new board game that shares many similarities with chess. It is however a far complex and dynamic game that brings new challenges and thinking to the table. It has made its debut on PC, letting a new generation of board game enthusiasts enjoy it.
Baladana consists of a chessboard with pieces, where every piece can move the same way at the beginning. As the game progresses, your pieces get different powers. These powers make your pieces move in a different fashion, giving the game its strategic edge. The pieces, depending on their powers, can move in a variety of different ways, represented by the colored rings below them. These powers keep changing as the game goes on, making the game fun and frantic for the whole duration.
Featuring intuitively simple controls, Baldana is a game of the mind that is meant to be played between two players. You can either play with a friend or a computer opponent. As you get acquainted with the rules and the game play, you can change the difficulty to set a bigger challenge for yourself. You can change the position of a ring with every move. Every piece can have up to 3 rings, and these rings can combine to transform your chess pieces into more powerful figures. The game play dynamic never gets stale and the game is made for unlimited replayabilty.
